Adding a window blind is a great idea to change the appearance of the rooms. But most of the people who think of buying blinds are in dilemma that why they should at all buy a window blind. There are several reasons that we think that should prompt your decision of buying blinds the reasons are as follows-

• Several styles, shapes and patterns of the blinds are available. While one chooses they would get a wide choice in the blinds and can match them according to the colours of their room and office. The types of blinds are roman blinds, mini blinds, cordless blinds and the vertical blinds.

• The window blinds help you to control that amount of light that enters your room. This is because you will be having the freedom to cover the window partially or totally. window-treatments-drapesThe Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Custom Window Treatment

Everyone finds themselves bored with their rooms at one time or another.

Painting always seems like an easy fix, but it never really changes the inflection or elevates the style. A custom window treatment, however, can efficiently and effectively alter a space.

Below are several options to consider when you find yourself itching to make a dramatic change to your home.

Curtains

Ring Topped drapes can be pleated with inverted pleats, pinch pleats, soft pleats, or goblet pleats, which add a touch of elegance. They are hung on a rod with rings of wood or steel and can vary in style.

Rod Pocket Drapes are gathered at the top and can provide the ambiance of a country cottage. For a farmhouse chic aesthetic, choose a classic pattern or crisp, white cotton.

Tab tops are commonly used in homes that prefer the “less is more” look. Tabs can be plain or knotted. Some tabs are sculpted to have a softly gathered appearance at the top and are then slimmed to create a perfect connection to the drapery top.

Grommet Topped Curtains are elegant and understated. They consist of long swaths of fabric attached to an exposed curtain rod by oversized rings. They can be as comfortable in a contemporary style home as they are in a palace.

Top Treatments bring a new and urbane character to a custom window treatment.

Cornices are the icing on the drapery cake. They hide all the hardware and provide a charming warm atmosphere to the room. Some cornices are carved from attractive wood, while others are covered with paint or fabric.

Valences are functionally similar to cornices but are often more embellished. They are generally attached to windows with an L-shaped rod.

Graber – Green By Nature

Wood blinds add warmth and style to any home. Learn how Springs Window Fashions controls wood blind manufacturing from start to finish to provide high quality Graber products with a minimal impact on the environment.

Graber Blinds are made in an environmentally friendly USA facility.

For Window Blinds we are the only plant in the country that brings in lumber, does our own drying and manufacturing our products right here on site.

Fifteen years ago there was probably a dozen plants along the country that did what we do, those have since moved overseas. We’re situated right in the center of basswood region in so it only makes sense for us to purchase local materials. The hardwoods that springs uses are a renewable resource. We use basswood because its it’s a lightweight and very stable doesn’t twist or bend very easily.

graber-wood-blindsFrom an aesthetics  point of view there is nothing like a wood blind or shutter. Not only the natural beauty but it also provides insulation both sound and temperature.

Blinds that were produced by springs have superior quality because we control the process. We purchase lumber right from the sawmill bringing in here green then we can control our own kiln drying process here. Making sure we have the right moisture content that the stress is taken out of the lumber so as we go through the plant the lumber will be straight flat. We cross cut it. We cut out the defects. We sand it ourselves.
